Current Areas of Ministry:

FOOD AND CLOTHING

WHITE CROSS

BUSINESS AS MISSIONS

We provide guidance and resources to create businesses that support and sustain ongoing ministry. Often this is required in countries where missions/ministry isn't possible due to infrastructure, culture or government oppression.

» For more information, email: BAM@efca.org.

CRISIS RESPONSE

When a disaster strikes, we are available to assist local churches in the response, both immediate and long-term. Since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, over 6,000 volunteers have given more than 225,000 work hours through the EFCA churches in Louisiana.

» For more information on Crisis Response Ministry, contact Mark Lewis at crisisresponse@efca.org. To send a team to Louisiana or to find out about the current needs of the Katrina Project, visit efcakatrinaproject.com.

AIDS MINISTRY

For those living with AIDS, through the ministry of the local church, we provide the means to help improve the quality of life, and educate and care for individuals and their families.

» Contact Rachel Martin at aidsministry@efca.org for more information.

MINISTRY CENTERS

Our ministry centers serve as collection and distribution points supplying resources for our numerous ministries. We're actively developing additional ministry centers around the U.S. which will provide local churches opportunities for service. These centers will be ready and equipped to respond in the event of a regional disaster.

JEEPS

JeepsA great opportunity for those who like to get their hands dirty and at the same time, enable someone half way around the world to share the love of Christ. We have all the parts, all we need are teams committed to build Jeeps that facilitate ministry in remote access locations.

» Contact Jim Snyder at touchglobal@efca.org for more information.

LEADERSHIP EDUCATION

Through the Adopt-a-Leader program, we develop and train world-class leaders in some of the world's poorest areas. Individuals selected by local church leadership are trained to become lawyers, teachers, mechanics, and medical personnel. Through your assistance they can have a marked influence upon the life and ministry of the local church.

» For more information contact Jim Snyder at touchglobal@efca.org.

MEDICAL MINISTRY

Providing quality, affordable health care is often prerequisite in order to speak to the heart of someone in need. Multiple contexts around the world provide opportunities to impact people's lives through interaction with Christian health care providers in curative, preventive and community health care settings.

"Every time someone says "Yes" to God there is life-change … courage gets a little deeper, joy gets a little broader and you find Jesus is so amazing, sufficient, surprising and irresistible. There is no one like Jesus. He is so approachable … refreshing … countercultural … and so controversial. As you give your life away, you find life. Those who step out in faith have their lives turned upside down. They are alive and living the adventure."
